Ferrovanadium

Ferrovanadium is a special type of ferroalloy, with a clearly regulated content of vanadium. In a high-quality product produced in strict accordance with international standards, the vanadium content should be from 35 to 85 percent.

Ferrovanadium is an iron alloy consisting of vanadium and iron. Ferrovanadium is mainly used as an alloy additive in steelmaking, and high vanadium ferrovanadium is also used as a non-ferrous alloy additive. Widely used as an element additive in smelting vanadium alloy steel and alloy cast iron. Vanadium consumption in steel is 20% carbon steel, 25% high strength low alloy steel, 20% alloy steel and 15% tool steel. Vanadium in iron vanadium can improve the strength, toughness, ductility and heat resistance of steel, and improve the cutting performance of steel.
